New York Growing the Clean Energy Workforce — Electric Vehicles
Who can apply
- Small businesses
Eligible businesses and training organizations creating or expanding electric-vehicle repair/maintenance or related pre-apprenticeship programs. At least 35% of participants must reside in designated disadvantaged communities. Charger installation training is excluded.
About this grant
State-funded grants support EV, charging-station and fleet maintenance training. Base awards are capped at $275,000 for applicants with 2–50 employees, $375,000 for 51–100, or $500,000 for larger applicants. Up to $100,000 more may support approved training equipment.
