Who can apply
- Small businesses
Arkansas businesses must already hold a federal SBIR award and obtain an incentive offer before completing the state application. Eligible sectors include advanced materials and manufacturing, agriculture and environmental sciences, biotechnology and life sciences, information technology, transportation logistics and bio-based products.
About this grant
Arkansas offers matching grants to businesses with federal Small Business Innovation Research awards. State support can equal up to 50% of a federal award, capped at $50,000 for Phase I and $100,000 for Phase II. Payments reimburse approved costs supported by invoices and financial reports.
