U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents; energy or science technology founders meeting the program’s education and technical criteria. Applicants may form a U.S. company after applying and must not have raised over $2 million in private funding.

A two-year program for science and energy startup founders at Argonne. Fellows receive a $115,000 annual stipend and healthcare benefits alongside laboratory and commercialization support. Argonne and DOE take no equity.
