Michigan employers training permanent, full-time workers through classroom or customized training, USDOL Registered Apprenticeships or on-the-job training. Employers apply through the Work-Based Learning Online Management System (WBLOMS).
About this grant
Competitive awards to Michigan employers for short-term, employer-directed training that helps hire and keep workers. Since 2014 the fund has made 9,064 awards averaging $41,316. Applications open once a year through Michigan Works! and the WBLOMS system.
