Lakewood Commercial Property Revitalization Rebate
Who can apply
- Small businesses
Lakewood commercial property owners and businesses; tenants need owner permission. Comprehensive facade renovation, current property taxes, prior city approval, inspections and applicable historic and prevailing-wage requirements apply. Construction cannot begin before approval.
About this grant
Reimbursement generally covers 40% of approved renovation costs, capped at $30,000. Specific architectural, accessibility, signage and code-work rebates may affect the calculation; city rules also cap payment at exterior improvement spending.
