Mississippi Works Fund — Workforce Retention and Reskilling
Who can apply
- Eligible colleges and planning and development districts applying for businesses
Eligible Mississippi businesses with critical training needs for high-wage jobs, creating or enhancing at least 10 permanent full-time jobs under the published rules. A community college, state higher-education institution or planning and development district applies on the business's behalf.
About this grant
State grants fund training to retain workers and improve business competitiveness. Approved projects may cover customized instruction, apprenticeships and related training expenses. The training provider receives the grant for the named business; this listing is distinct from WIN Job Center on-the-job training reimbursements.
