Who can apply
- Small businesses
Eligible Montana technology businesses conducting federally funded SBIR/STTR projects. Phase II applicants must have received a Phase I award. Funds support the federal project or related product/service development.
About this grant
State grants provide up to $30,000 per federal research phase to help Montana companies develop commercially viable technology. Commerce reviews applications and requires quarterly and final project reports.
