North Dakota STEP Export Grants
Who can apply
- Small businesses
SBA-eligible small businesses with a significant North Dakota presence and at least one year in business. Export activities need advance approval and cannot also use other federal assistance for the same expenses. The administrator explicitly states there is no participation fee.
About this grant
Reimburses 75% of eligible export costs, up to $5,000 per activity. Businesses initially may submit two applications totaling up to $10,000, with further requests possible if funds remain. Activities include trade missions, trade shows, market research, translation and eligible international marketing.
