Who can apply
- Small businesses
Newport commercial real-estate owners; priority goes to West Newport and Monmouth Street, with other city properties considered. Required occupational licenses, zoning and building approvals, historic review where applicable, and a cash match equal to 50% of the grant award apply.
About this grant
Reimbursement grants for approved permanent commercial facade improvements, including doors, windows, masonry, paint, awnings and signage. Residential properties and in-kind matching services are excluded.
