Who can apply
- Small businesses
Texas businesses with fewer than 100 employees, training full-time employees who are paid the prevailing local wage. Owners and managers may qualify depending on job duties. Training must be provided by a public community or technical college.
About this grant
Pays for training of new and current employees of Texas small businesses at public community and technical colleges: up to $2,000 per new employee and $1,000 per incumbent employee. Common courses include customer service, QuickBooks, CPR and sales and marketing. Employers apply online through TWC and then choose courses.
