Details from the funder

Contemporary visual artists or collaboratives living and working in Harris, Montgomery or Fort Bend County, Texas, with at least two consecutive years of residency. No current or planned art-related degree enrollment in the coming year, relationships to Artadia staff/directors, or previous Artadia/Art Council award of $10,000 or more. Film intended for cinematic distribution and choreography outside contemporary-art contexts are excluded. Applicants must be sole conceptual authors unless applying collaboratively, with all co-authors credited. Residency-program participants apply where they permanently reside. Finalists must be available for a 45-minute virtual studio visit.
